Keurig (5000204976) K-Duo Essentials Coffee Maker

This is the coffee maker for you if you like to decorate your coffee machine every other day. And don't bother contacting customer service; you may read the handbook and still get nowhere (answers are word for word from the manual); if the manual had helped, I wouldn't have needed to call.

I've had Keurigs for a number of years and they've all functioned perfectly, but we got this K Duo essentials less than a year ago and it worked fine until the pod side stopped working correctly. It appears like the water feed tube detached from the connection at the pod region, causing water to spill around the pod holder and into the cup. My wife spent the weekend with our granddaughter and returned with wonderful praises of the Keurig K Duo that she had purchased. We got the cleaning capsules along with it so we could properly care for it. It was late, but due of the Covid-19 situation, we were patient, and it eventually arrived. We followed the maintenance instructions and used the cleaning capsules as directed. We take careful care of our belongings because we don't have much money to replace them. The single cup feature broke after 5 months of usage. I looked into it and found nothing to explain it. It started working again after I made a couple of pots of coffee like magic. It worked for another two weeks before ceasing to function. We have no choice but to call the pot function because the return window has long since closed. We are quite dissatisfied with the quality and would never purchase another Keurig. You'd think they'd last a long time for the price they are.

Unfortunately, I did not receive the Keurig shown. I received something similar, except it had a rounded top over the Pod area, making it higher than the specifications given for the flat one displayed (I believe it was ASIN B081DYS74B). Because of new counters, I required the particular dimensions for the flatter-topped machine. Fortunately, they were quite kind about the error and quickly allowed a refund for the unit. That deserves an extra star.

I've never encountered a coffee maker that was so difficult to master. Even after several weeks of use, I still have to pause and reflect every night when I put it on automatic brewing. For the life of me, I can't pour a cup of coffee without it spilling. I tried pouring quicker and slower, but nothing works. The coffee temperature is almost correct for my wife but may be a touch warmer for me. Simple to maintain and clean. Coffee tastes amazing on both sides.

This is the greatest drip coffee machine I've ever bought. The operating learning curve is less than 2 minutes. When you press the start button, the machine panel illuminates and prompts you to select single cup or pot, then # of cups; you may select "strong"; and the brewing process begins. The pot buzzes when the brew is finished. You don't need to read a book to get this kid… read more rolling. The pot will remain hot until you turn it off. A fantastic, rational, and intuitive method.

The coffee maker is fantastic. The setup is incredibly simple, and I was able to utilize a "third party" k pod with no problems (so nice after having a Kuerig 2.0). Also, for those of us who prefer a 16oz+ cup of coffee, there is plenty of area next to the carafe for larger coffee cups (think soup bowl with a handle xD). When trying to buy this coffee maker (K-Duo), I, along with numerous others, it appears from reviews, were delivered the cheaper version (K-Duo Essentials), forcing us to return the goods.

This is not a good investment. Cleaning is a chore. The Kcup holder may be removed for cleaning, however the remainder of the space cannot be removed for cleaning. I'm not sure how that region gets so filthy considering my last one didn't! The Kcup's calibration is completely wrong. In terms of flavor, it is satisfactory.

Be cautious. This is not what it states or demonstrates. They will give you the basics version, which you can purchase for cheaper from Wal-Mart!!!

This device does not have a display, no clock, and is not programmable. Buyer Beware
