Cons This does not comparable to a Keurig where you can fill up a medium/large water reservoir It only enables you to make 1 cup of coffee at 6 8, 12 oz, so it's practically a single serve only The pricing is a bit excessive, should be $40 max. It's a good coffee maker, but Keurig is superior.

I had high hopes for my Sboly Coffee Maker, but it stopped working suddenly today. I was making my coffee like normal, but when I tried to pour it out, only a small portion of the liquid came out and it seemed like the machine was stuck. I checked the water holder, and there was still some water in there. Thinking it was a one-off, I decided to let the water run out without the… read more pod, which worked fine. When I tried again, the coffee started pouring out all over the floor! After trying it one more time to the same result, I threw it out and I'm back to using my single serve Keurig. If you're looking for a combo ground coffee/pod machine, I suggest you look elsewhere. I won't be buying a Sboly product again.

This machine is fantastic! It brews a single cup of coffee in half the time that my old one did. We measured the temperature of the coffee after brewing because it was much hotter than my old machine, and it was 76 degrees, which is pleasant and hot in my opinion. It works perfectly. The best part is that it is small and takes up no counter space. My only issue is the lid used to insert the pod. The button may wear out since I find it fragile. It's a spring-loaded button, but it's badly built in my opinion. Overall, I would suggest it. I've been using it for a month with pods and without pods.

This device is fantastic; it works flawlessly. Very fast, and I appreciate that I don't have to use pods if I don't want to. For grown beans, simply use the adaptor that comes with it. I'm sipping this fantastic kicking Horse black coffee, and it's delicious. Much better than spending $4 million for a cup at Tim's, disgusting files, or Taster's pick.

This Tassimo coffee machine is great for brewing both pre-packaged and reusable Kureg pods, as well as ground coffee. It can even imitate the Tassimo unit by using the 'Capsule' cycle. However, for optimal use it must be placed on a perfectly level surface, otherwise some of the hot water may escape from the machine. It does precisely what it should. My old coffeemaker, a Kuerig 1.0, was hotter. Because you only make one mug (up to 12 oz.) at a time, it takes roughly 8 minutes from cold to completed brew. I have been using this product to make my single cups of coffee every day since I got it, and I am very impressed with how well it works. To get the water out from the previous day, I make a cup of water for the first brew. Brewing a cup takes roughly 3 minutes. I use it for both ground coffee and k-cups. The only disadvantage I can think of is that the grind leaves a powdery residue at the bottom of my drink. Ground coffee soaked through the mesh cup. I recently purchased this product and was delighted with it. I even planned on getting one for my elderly parents as a Christmas present. Unfortunately, I started experiencing problems shortly after. The water that was being dispensed was merely a trickle, while the towel underneath the coffee maker was soaking wet. After trying various methods such as auto-cleaning and running… read more empty rounds, I resorted to using vinegar to clean it. This worked initially, however, the second time I used it, I needed to repeat the process multiple times. Furthermore, the machine began to dispense water without boiling it, skipping this step entirely. After contacting the seller, they advised me to run a vinegar cleaning cycle, which caused the problem to be resolved as the cycle flushed out the hidden coffee grounds and loose leaves. As a result of this experience, I have learnt to run a vinegar cleaning cycle and check the dispensing tank for build up every few days, even if soft water is being used. The seller was very helpful and prompt in offering a refund, which I appreciated. As a result, I have upgraded my rating to four stars.

I decided to replace my old, inexpensive Black and Decker single cup coffee maker with the Sboly model, which cost me CAD$75. The difference in quality was immediately noticeable - the Sboly has a well-designed water reservoir that doesn't leak, and an effective filter that eliminates the sludge that was present in the bottom of my cup with the old maker. Additionally, the knowledge that K-cups are now recyclable removed my reservations about purchasing this type of coffee maker. I was also very impressed with Sboly's customer service. When I emailed them to ask if a buzzing noise during the last 20 seconds of the brew cycle was normal, they promptly asked me to send in a video so they could hear the noise. A couple of days later, I received an email informing me that the noise was made by the pump and was completely normal. This level of customer service was truly exemplary.
