Mueller (DC 750) Ultra Coffee Maker Reviews

January 12, 2021After conducting research and consulting reviews, I decided to purchase the Mueller coffee maker. I was pleased with the unboxing process and content; there was no visible damage and it seemed brand new. I followed the instructions and ran 4 cycles of clean water prior to use, to avoid any plastic odor. After adding 18 ounces of water and 20 grams of ground coffee, I was pleasantly… read more surprised to have a hot, dark, and rich cup of coffee in under 7 minutes. The only downside is that there is no audible alert when the coffee is ready, but that hasn't stopped me from enjoying this product. I would recommend this coffee maker to anyone, so long as they take the time to read and follow the instructions provided in the manual.

January 10, 2021This was pricey!! I'm surprised that the heating plate started peeling just three weeks of purchasing. I wipe my plate every day and have never had this happen! The basket filter was difficult to clean, and the reservoir was tiny. I was constantly spilling water from the saucepan as I poured it in. I had so many issues that I got a Mr Coffee. So far, so nice, and I'm like… read more it more. Don't purchase it!

January 5, 2021I was switching from a Keurig to a brewer, but after a lengthy trial period, I gave up. We've been drinking coffee for a long time, but we moved to K cups a few years ago. I was pleased with the ease and options, but my wife insisted on going back...so we did with well-known dark roast coffees we'd used in the past...tried all the known variables and couldn't get a cup of coffee… read more we were satisfied with, so after enough time I put the new coffee maker back in its box and on a shelf...perhaps never to be used again...

January 4, 2021Since we acquired it, this has been brewing coffee in my kitchen every morning. It has to be..... It's been three months. It was quite simple to set up. Start cleaning it and preparing coffee. I prepare it the night before and wake up to an amazing scent and great coffee... On a daily basis. That was all I want. I don't need anything else. Oh, I should mention that I never… read more make more than 10 cups. When you add enough grounds to make 12 cups, they overflow the filter and end up in the carafe. So.... There you have it. -.5 point I guess.

December 28, 2020I bought this 12-cup coffee maker and I am very pleased with it. It is compact, making it take up very little space on my counter. I have never had coffee burn in the pot, and it keeps it hot for a long time. The customer service is amazing and provides a 2-year warranty and free replacement if the pot breaks. It is also easy to use and has a reusable filter so you don't have to… read more buy paper filters. The only cons are that it can be tricky to pour in the water to the carafe and the condensation can build up and make an annoying noise. However, you can open up the lid after brewing to help the liquid evaporate and it will stop making the noise. I would definitely buy this again.

December 28, 2020This is a functional coffeemaker. It's visually appealing and makes decent coffee. It has, however, broken twice. When removed during brewing, the mechanism that blocks the flow of coffee into the carafe breaks twice. (A new part shattered the second time. Much too flimsy for an item that gets a regular exercise.). So we'll have to wait till the coffee is finished brewing before… read more we can enjoy a cup. Coffee enthusiasts will understand how excruciating this can be on certain mornings. So... If you can wait for your coffee, this will suffice, even if it is broken. If you can't, choose another manufacturer and spare yourself the trouble.

December 18, 2020I recently purchased a new coffee maker and it has been working great so far. It is an all glass model with a stainless steel handle, and the reviews were good. It has a setting for brew strength and it keeps the pot warm for several hours after brewing and automatically shuts off. The reusable filter is a great money saver, but I am concerned about the coffee grounds getting into… read more the reservoir and possibly clogging it. The price was good at under $40, and I am happy with my purchase.

December 15, 2020After ten years of reliable service, I retired my Black & Decker coffee maker and upgraded to an Austrian-made machine. Although this unit cost more than its predecessor, I was hopeful its parts would be easier to clean. Fortunately, it has not disappointed: no liquids have leaked onto the counter, and the coffee pours without issue. It does take a bit longer to brew four to five… read more cups, and the brew is slightly weaker than I'm used to. However, the temperature is still satisfactory. Many coffee lovers prefer their drink to be scorching hot, but I find that they usually wait for it to cool down before drinking it anyway. It should be noted that this coffee maker is made in the People's Republic of China, not Austria as suggested by the name.

December 14, 2020Despite the fact that it's a touch huge for my little kitchen, I'm delighted I replaced my small four-cup coffee maker with this Mueller model. The coffee is consistently delicious and never harsh. I appreciate how it keeps the coffee warm. It's simple to program, and the controls are straightforward to understand.

December 12, 2020I bought this coffee maker after desperately searching for one with a CONE filter. I am so glad I did! It has a delayed start feature and a stronger coffee option that I use. I tried using both the enclosed permanent filter and my own paper filter; I personally prefer the paper filter. It took about 4 full brews for the plastic taste to go away, but I have only had it for about… read more a week and a half, so I can't speak to the longevity yet. I tried a different brand with a thermal pot, but it didn't make the coffee hot enough and I just prefer drinking out of a glass carafe, so I returned it. I have been very happy with this brand so far; it also doesn't drip when pouring. I used to have a late 90s Krupps white drip (cone filter) coffee maker that made the best coffee I've ever had at home. I'm a daily grinder and I miss it, but after many years it finally stopped working. This coffee maker is a great replacement.
